2023 Tutoring, Lessons, and Camps

BCS Faculty and Staff are offering a variety of summer opportunities to allow kids to stay connected, review skills, or even learn something new!

Students are welcome, even if they don’t attend BCS during the school year. 

1:1 Tutoring/Lessons

Tutoring | Mrs. Brett Oates, Intervention Specialist

  • Total of 6 sessions: June 7, 21, 28; July 12, 19, 26
  • 10 AM-3 PM

Reading Boot Camp

June 19-22 & August 7-10 | 9:00-11:30 AM

  • Group A: Kindergarten readiness
  • Group B: Reading comprehension and phonics refresher for rising 1st and 2nd graders
  • Cost: $150

Drama Camp

June 26-29 & July 10-13 | 8:30-11:30 AM

  • Preschool through 6th grade
  • Drama coaching and a performance on the last day
  • Show title: The Magic Pasta Pot
  • Cost: $80 (includes snacks and souvenirs)

Beading Camp

June 26-29 | Mrs. Amy Brown

  • For students age 11-15.
  • Cost: $75 (pay with registration) + $35 supply fee (due at camp)
  • Morning (10:00-11:30) or afternoon (1:00-2:30) sessions available
  • Students will experience four days of hands-on lessons learning the process of creating beaded jewelry that is specifically targeted for teens. All jewelry projects are customized to the student’s preferences and will be suitable for both boys and girls. Take-home projects include:1 Washer Pendant necklace, 3 Seed Bead rings, 2 Polymer bracelets, 1 Name bracelet, 2 Friendship pins
