Our Kindergarten and 1st Grade teachers are producing productive, highly engaged students who are developing a true love of literacy with Daily 5.
Students work independently in small groups and in teacher-directed groups as they focus on the following skills:
- read to self
- read to someone
- listen to reading
- word work, and
- writing.
We invite parents to encourage their students in these 5 skills to help cultivate a love of reading and related skills.
