High School

Education is a vital part of our investment in the next generation, both as a ministry and as a state. We are so grateful to those who have chosen to give their lives to investing in the next generation through education in West Virginia, and we are honored and privileged to have a role in that endeavor. We are excited to continue to contribute by providing a high-level academic environment, founded on a biblical worldview, which teaches students that they are loved and designed with a purpose. For West Virginia to flourish, our young people must flourish.

Q&A

Where will the high school be located?

For the first two years, we anticipate students being located at our current school campus on Oakhurst Drive. To support subsequent growth, Bible Center Church plans to expand its Southridge Campus to include facilities for the future High School, Middle School, Gymnasium, and Student Ministries, with the goal of welcoming students into the new space by the fall of 2028.

Will the High School be accredited?

Yes. BCS has already applied for accreditation, and the process will be completed Fall 2026.

What academic opportunities will my child have?

BCS ultimately plans to offer a wide variety of options to high school students, including honors and AP classes, dual enrollment classes, fine arts, internships and work study, serving opportunities, and more.

Will sports be available?

Yes. The new freshman class will participate in high school sports, eventually joining and competing within the WVSSAC.

Connecting with Students on Real-Life Issues

Middle School students participate in advisory groups so that every student is known by one adult on our campus. Middle School teachers and other BCS staff members lead groups in discussions about real-world topics with guard rails established by the adult. These groups have become the highlight of the middle school program.

Serving Others

In addition to advisory groups, Middle School students will be introduced to service-learning this school year. Students will choose a service opportunity in the community and integrate service projects into the curriculum as we seek to fulfill our mission at Bible Center School.
