Welcome to BCS

A Note from Our Head of School

We are thrilled that you have landed on our website! Here you will get a glimpse of what makes Bible Center School such a special place for your family.

As you explore our academic, spiritual, and campus life, you can’t help but feel the overwhelming faithfulness of God as Bible Center School has created a legacy in the Kanawha Valley over the last 4 decades.

At Bible Center School, our mission is simple but profound: to partner with families in developing students whose minds are trained to think biblically, hearts fully surrendered to God, and hands ready to serve.

Everything we do flows from that shared mission. In an environment where relationships come first, we emphasize what Jesus called the greatest commandments—to love God and love others. Our teachers and staff take this calling seriously. They are passionate about Jesus, devoted to Christian education, and deeply committed to shepherding the hearts of students.

We believe that students learn best when they feel known, supported, and encouraged. At BCS, your child is surrounded by caring adults and peers who share the same values and purpose—people who will cheer them on, nurture their God-given gifts, and help them grow in both faith and academics.

Our school culture—known as RAM Culture—is built around five core principles: Love God. Value Others. Take Action. Accept Responsibility. Words Matter. From the moment you walk through our doors, you’ll sense something different. You’ll feel like family. The kindness of our teachers, the eagerness of our students, and the Christlike character that shapes our classrooms, athletic fields, and campus life all point back to one truth: everything we do is for the glory of God.

We are honored to partner with you in this journey of faith and learning. Together, we are helping students grow into young men and women who love God, love others, and make a lasting difference in the world.

As we look toward the future of Bible Center School, we eagerly anticipate the opportunity to educate students in our community from 3 years old through High School.

We hope you will visit our campus soon so that you can experience what God is doing in and through us at Bible Center School!

With Gratitude,

Stephanie Schafer
